That was such a great final episode. Amazing confession, great bosh rush, all around kino ending. Thank you anons for posting that thread a few weeks ago, if anything it was understated how good it is.

Katanagatari is my favortie Nisio work. Bakemonogatari is amazing, Zaregoto is great too, but there is just something about Katanagatari that tickles all that I like in an animu.
Togame ;_;
it's fun and explosive, and it has a lot of emotion involved, but it thematically renders the whole plot meaningless.
People say that it's supposed to imply isin is arguing that violence is meaningless or something, but this really doesn't display that at all. It's a weirdly stupid argument to just say trying to crush your enemies doesn't work because the enemies get mad and fight you too. it's not like planned offensives historically leave things the way they started.
Nisio seems to love this idea of romantic main characters that are nothing but pointless problem children getting in the way of self solving problems like with bakemono.
>but it thematically renders the whole plot meaningless.
And that's great! The entire series could have been solved with just one episode desu, but the journey and growth (sometimes even lack thereof) are very enjoyable.
Violence begets violence is a concept older than dirt.
Unless you completely eradicate your enemies and their adjutants, someone related to the conflict will come for your head. Eventually, they will succeed. That's basic retribution shit.
>half-jew
the vile abomination deserved what it got
Togamefags keep crying
>massacred countless of innocents before Shichika
>let loose both Shichika and Nanami to this world, having entire villages at time being eradicated
>cornered Houou too hard causing an entire village to die
>lied to everyone, even her beloved
>needlessly pursing revenge instead of laying low
>yet if she didn't do anything, they would eventually kill her
Take that back bitch nigga, she did nothing wrong
Erry day
Huh, didn't know they novels were being translated. Are they worth it?
I've actually seen them in B&N in the regular fantasy fiction section oddly enough vs the other LNs which were grouped in with the manga.
imagine ever holding a sword
Definitely checking them out then. Weird since I remember seeing Bakemonogatari on the manga section.
Still mad.
This show is so colorful
That art is wonderful.
For sure, the audio CDs carry some good shit despite most EDs being subpar. Being non-moon sucks since no atogatari nor audiobook.
Meisai ;_;
Two left
Shichika's post Togame design is great. I don't even like red
i added John wick medley as bgm during the castle attack.
>This story is meaningless because it doesn't actually have the meaning other people see and I don't (because I'm an illiterate nigger with no reading comprehension).
>audiobook
If you mean Kyotou Yasuri, it's translated swordtranslations.wordpress.com
What a God. Thank you very much, user.
[unsheathes katana]
heh unnecessary drivel
My poor girl..
Atogatari highlights:
>Wow that was so cool/sad/scary
>Wow we had to talk so much, but the footage we dubbed was actually finished
>A lot of analyzing characters and themes
>Hosoya being awkward
>Togame's audition lines included her dying scene, Hitei's included "I didn't dislike her."
>The entire insect squad being brought on and not having much to say
>>The entire insect squad being brought on and not having much to say
kek
I wouldn't mind Nakahara just talking for an hour straight tho
>got students in the end
????
