Doesn't really matter since Giants were hyped up to be super strong and turned out to be super weak just like Fishmen did. Fishmen at least have some decent folks left like Jinbei and Jack but not one strong Giant character so far (if we assume Yeti Cools and Oars aren't "normal" giants). Maybe Hajrudin but he's Luffy follower tier at best. Oda could of couse always retcon them to be super strong and just we haven't met any but hey.

I started reading One Piece only two years ago and Pre-TS is definitely much better, specifically the first half of grand line. I kinda like Wano too, and Reverie was kino, but for a long time One Piece was real bad.
