Synopsis: The group of children decide to split into two groups to search for the holy Digimon. Taichi Yagami, Koushiro Izumi, and Mimi Tachikawa form one group, while Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, and Jou Kido form another. Yamato's group goes to the desert, where they rescue small Digimon trying to escape from a violent dark Digimon, Scorpiomon. These Digimon were in the midst of running to find Leomon, who is fighting back against the dark Digimon. Yamato wishes to hurry and find the holy Digimon, while Sora refuses to abandon the Digimon, and the two fight, ending with Yamato leaving with his Digimon partner Gabumon to go his own way. Although Yamato has a reason for wanting to hurry...?!
Why does all new Takayoshi Tanimoto's songs sound so generic? I wish at least they brought Ohta Michihiko back to compose his songs, so we could, once again, have great songs like this one: youtube.com/watch?v=5_nXa99j9GQ

>episode 10 >more evolutions I was waiting on ~15-20 to start watching, but is it 1 cour?
Angel Sanders
in 20 episodes at this rate
Ryder Watson
No, it's planned to be 66 episodes. But unlike the original series, it looks like everyone will be reaching mega this time around, so they've still got even more evolutions after this.
Jack Long
Fuck off furfag.
Jaxon Reyes
Even then, in the original they could have had the mega's introduced during the dark masters arc ending with the huge finally of them all mega against Apocalymon. Given another 10 episodes to do that with, it would have been easy and paced well enough.
This pacing is a bit too fast. If we have all the ultimates by episode 20, we're going to have them as the evolution cap for a good 15~20 episodes otherwise they will have to add more omegamon style forms for the other digimon to keep it fresh... and we don't want that
Noah James
They might go to the jogress or something like that
I think they won't reach mega until they get Patamon and Gatomon and those two reach their perfect stage. I also feel like they'll hold onto perfects and adults a bit more. From episode 10 it seemed like Tai's digivice had to charge before evolving Greymon into Metalgreymon
Megas will still job hard in order to shill omegamon. the other children will still be useless shits. Edit: God, is it just me or has the captcha gone to total shit in the last 2 days?
Camden Richardson
Lol, when they started getting pushed out, I was like "oooooh shit"
is this the most agile metalgreymons ever been? studies suggest yes
Nathaniel Lee
>gatomon holding her pig BF like that in the bottom right
Nicholas Powell
so that tyranomon: Is it the same one they knocked off into the ocean earlier just evolved?
Levi Jones
Looks amazing
Xavier Butler
I kind of wonder how useful he'll be in this one; Not lying, Weregarurumon seemed like the weakest of the ultimates, by far in the original. I guess the animators felt like it'd be weird to show a little tiny guy as strong as the big hulking digimon or something, because he just seemed to law the same combat power.
Jaxson Jones
>0:17 Nice!
Matthew Miller
>The music ramps up the instant he grabs MetalTyranomon with its maw
>This pacing is a bit too fast. If we have all the ultimates by episode 20 We still need Patamon and Tailmon to come into the story. I don't think any Megas will be happening until Angewomon gets in
Thomas Robinson
desu, I think the OG handled the evolutions better than : does. Taichi learning over the course of an arc what actual courage was is better than him just smashing into Metaltyranomon until he gets the power up. Yamato is more interesting so hopefully that will have a little more weight.
Joseph Baker
I've been looking at this as a totally separate show from the original so I've tried to avoid making comparisons, but I have to admit I really did like the build up to the Perfect Level the original had, it made it feel like a really big deal when we finally did get MetalGreymon, especially after SkullGreymon.
On the other hand, that was a pretty fucking good episode. MetalGreymon looked better than he ever has in the anime before. I cannot get enough of how 90% of Taichi's battle time is riding on Greymon/MetalGreymon, it's great.
I've seen this animation style before. Is this that one guy who did the really nice cuts in Xros Wars? Do they work on One Piece?
Josiah Moore
Magnaangemon too. I doubt he'll get og adventure extremely strong treatment
Joseph Miller
I sort of agree, but they're not doing the Crests in this so its okay that it's different. If they were still doing the crests search, I would have agreed with you but it seems that their traits are already part of their Digivices
Cameron Gray
Damn, what a fucking badass. Metal Greymon did not dissapoint even if the episode had some QUALITY shots. Also he is fast as fuck now. I was surprised that they went with Giga Storm instead of GIGA DESUTROYAH. Hopefully they will treat him like Greymon and keep him a somewhat mobile fighter.
>. Taichi learning over the course of an arc what actual courage was is better than him just smashing into Metaltyranomon until he gets the power up.
That was just padding. OG Adventure had a lot of that. In this remake Taichi didn't have to re-learn the same lesson.
Noah Hernandez
>pink wings Onii-chan has good taste.
Ethan Turner
Yamato is just straight up a better character in these 10 episodes so far. The funny thing is that I think he's a little more edgy than 1999, but this actually works better here because he's been traveling alone longer than the others so he doesn't have to put up a false front of being cold.
>That's not padding, that's development No its not. Taichi didn't need 8 episodes to come to that conclusion that was just padding because OG Adventure had a lot more filler, he essentially knew what courage meant after his training with Pixiemon outside that what purpose was the episode in which they're on a cruise ship?
Juan Stewart
>what purpose was the episode in which they're on a cruise ship? Naked Sora and Mimi
Nicholas Cruz
My 10 year old self would have agreed with you
Camden Ross
>That quick flash of the courage symbol at 0:17 This is a good show
