Why does everyone love to hate this show? Holy shit the writing was good. I wished I had watched it sooner but everyone told me it was shit.

not to mention it's very loud minority, Naruto is loved worldwide.

I picked it up recently and I was really enjoying myself until the mass zombie revival. Undoing Itachi's death and others severely crippled the series for me.

It's mostly Warm Pissers stuck in 2010

It went downhill around half way into shippuden. It still has the best fight scenes in all of battle shonen(they devolve into dbz tier bullshit in later half of shippuden tho).

Naruto has a cool premise and lots of themes and conflicting ideals presented to the reader. The fights are a big reason for its fanbase and hence overrating but I still like it after over a decade despite all its flaws. Considering the deadline Kishi worked on it's pretty impressive.

Yeah, that was the biggest Shark Jumping moment or the series. Madara revived it and gave it a life of its own (just like himself), until Kaguya came along and stole the spotlight for what felt like almost no reason other than to try and extend/tie everything together.

Wasn't much foreshadowing of her though and as an afterthought kind of feels like an excuse to make the pure dumpster fire that is Boruto and the crime that is flattening Hinata.

I didn't like the characters that much, only liked itachi for his sexy chad voice.

All those scenes that are supposed to be incriminating are really him just being edgy, he probably killed less than 10 people in total, and considering that withouth him the world couldn't be saved, it's a really good deal for both parts.

No, it wasn't. That's not to say that it didn't have good world building and I did find myself enjoying a lot of the characters, but the writing itself was atrocious on every level.

It's not about sasuke's character, it's about sasuke doing being a literal terrorist and doing a bunch of horrible shit and getting off with just "yeah, sorry about that haha"

Ok let's analyze this, he became a nukenin, associated himself with Orochimaru, then associated himself with Akatsuki, tried to kidnap Killer Bee, killed some Samurais, fought against the 5 Kages, fought against Danzou (Danzo actually killed himself) and finally attempted to murder Sakura.
That's a pretty bad record, but nowhere near the level that some people pretend it is. Withouth his help in the war they would have never been able to seal Kaguya and therefore he saved the world.

One Piece, Dragon Ball (the original run, not Super) and FMA are some of the better ones, along with HxH

This. Itachi vs Sasuke, Naruto vs Pain, all Jiraiya fights, Orochimaru vs Hiruzen beat the fuck out any other shonen fights

punishment is an incentive to stop doing bad things. if someone has already stopped, and nothing would be gained from making an example out of them, then punishment is unneccesary.

Piccolo earns his trust through teaming up with the group against the Saiyans and Frieza, as well as training Gohan. Nobody likes Vegeta for the longest time outside of Goku.

DB still has strong redeeming qualities. The fights are great throughout and so are the characters. I'm not saying it's perfect but claiming that it's no longer good is extremely disingenuous.
