It goes without saying it'll have success, but it was set from the start to be 4 chapters only.

I'd like it to be longer, but realistically Kubo has no reason to get himself caught in the weekly publication hell again.

He can always ask for a special contract like Togashi. Not on that level but at least like releasing 5-10 chapters per year.

Except Samurai 8 started on a high that only died down enough for it to get axed by chapter 50. 4 chapters is not enough to get axed no matter how badly it does, which it won't because it will start on a high. I think that volume will sell around 100,000 copies, because on a side, it's by Kubo so it will attract some buyers only for this, and some Bleach fans will buy it because is a sort of Bleach spinoff, but, on the other side, there aren't the Bleach character so it's basically a new series, so people is not attached to it

Kubo is well respected for his art. Everyone likes Kubo. BTW will do really well for Kubo alone, but it will also be a good short story.
