I don’t hate you, but I think you’re massively overrated. Mediocre characters especially the sis who has barely any character and the lame in charismatic villain whose only interesting trait is that one of his designs looks like MJ. Ugly art and fight scenes, not much story or characterization, the series is mostly back to back fights which like I said earlier aren’t that great in my opinion. Ufotable carries this series hard.

I can agree with this, it's my first anime but i struggle to watch anything else because of how great ufotable portrays kny.

I like KnY, but I don't think it ran long enough or did enough things wrong to be actively disliked/ hate worthy. Almost all of the series I could not stand: either ran too long and began contradicting itself/ showing weaknesses in it's writing, or made narative choices I wasn't a fan of.

knY is pretty safe, it's most "controversial" story telling move was a couple at the end, it's fun 90% through, and it didn't last year's upon years where the weekly grind wears down the author's energy as well as reader enthusiasm. I think it could have gone on a year or too longer, but the opportunity for it was way before that last arc started where croc could have slowed down on the action peice and spent more time characterizing.

Overall it's a good show, I don't think it's the best of all time or what not or particularly clever, and I don't think it will appeal to everyone, but it doesn't need to, it's already found it's audience.

Watch Fullmetal Alchemist. Hands down the best shounen for people new to the genre, trust me user.

mangadex has the whole thing up- I haven't gotten around yet to buying all the graphic novels- but it's on my list- the couple times i've re-read it have always been good

I hate it because it was TOO fast paced with little to no build up for anything. Like I get it sometimes people just want a simple show where things bleed and catch fire, but their just wasn't any substance and just left the package feel flaccid.

I don't remember Douma, Muzan, Hantengu or that vase fucker having tragic backstories. Just that they were assholes even when alive

I liked it other than the end fight and the ending.I wish Ufotable would make the last chapter an ova and expands the one before that.
I think fight scenes were quite confusing in the manga though. I liked the character designs and some of the characters were pretty fun.
Can't wait to see more of it animated.
