So would a decentralized marketplace for processing power on the eth chain not thrive when the whole world runs off more and more processing power every day.

You fail to realize that the next couple months are packed with announcements. And they all center around adoption.

All it takes is 1 semi-big thing and its going to enter the mainstream pretty quickly because its relatable. Cloud computing, blockchain technology.
