He's done a few things on his own that have showed off his own scientific knowledge. Like making the waterwheel based off what he learned seeing how the gear worked. And more recently there was him figuring out the sunstone.

Chrome gets more attention in 1 chapter than taiju or yuzuriha get the whole story despite them being present from Ch1. He gets wanked endlessly.

Reverse Engineering some sci-fi tech takes way too long, he clearly wants to finish this thing as soon as possible so he can deal with the kingdom of science as fast as possible

Well, for Xeno the Medusa is just a weapon of destruction. He doesn't know about the near-ressurrective ability that depetrification induces, because like you said, he never figured out the revival formula and didn't need to because he already had such a large group of loyal strongmen and engineers from the start. Such advances were unnecessary when other promising projects were available.

I guess you could say that Senku's advances were made as a result of conflict, conquest, and war, while Xeno's were made as a result of prolonged peace. Funny how Senku is reluctant to kill while Xeno is triggerhappy.
