Yes, I don't understand why you'd want to read a 7 volume series condensed down into a 90 minute movie that doesn't even reach the actual ending and cuts a significant amount of stuff out of the story including virtually every bit of important characterization for the cast that's not Shouya such that it winds up radically changing them and a subplot that runs throughout the entire series.

Also reminder that Kawai is the ultimate plebfilter. Hating her or thinking she "didn't get her comeuppance" or blaming her for Shouya's freak out proves you're a brainlet.
