You still think that Cyberpunk won't save anime? Please look closer.
TRIGGER Cyberpunk
>the new Animatrix
>the new Blade Runner Blackout 2022
>the new Akira
Greatest anime of all times confirmed. Thank you based Imaishi.
Fuck westernized garbage.
Fuck shitflix.
Fuck sony.
What about jannies?
>Their smile and their optimism: gone
Your shilled shit game won't save anything. Trigger don't want to work on this degenerate western property, but Netflix bux will keep the lights on.
>awkward anime nerds are awkward on camera
Stop the presses!
>OMG IMAISHI A GOD, ANIME SAVED, BASED CYBERSHIT
>H-he's an awkward nerd
Cope harder, shillfaggot. Professional Japanese workers not even bothering to smile or look the least bit enthusiastic is a huge sign they don't give a shit about this overdelayed shit project. Go back to your containment board.
I'm gonna die of old age before they make that new Akira anime. Or better yet, we'll probably get a new HxH chapter before we get any news on the Akira project. I'm guessing Cyberpunk's gonna be something lame and gay, like Banana Fish. It looks gay already.
Soul / Soulless
>Trigger don't want to work on this degenerate western property
This has to be a joke.
but this anime got a sticky. you have to like it.
S2 where? Exactly.
>Professional Japanese workers
They're literally autistic japanese animators. If you had seen any Yoshinari interview, or even just Otsuka LWA stream you would know how bad they are at this. How highly they value this project was immediately apparent from the staff they put together for it. Yoshinari as character designer at this point of his career is absolutely insane.
And now fuck off, retarded shitposter.
Exactly what? The circumstances are known. First the IP was untouchable under Gainax, then Imaishi explained that he would be interested in making more if he had no restrictions and could be more obscene than what TV anime allowed in S1. His short PSG manga already had bestiality and incest.
Now you're just intentionally baiting
remember when Trigger had such a promising future? Now they are literally just slaves to western propagandists. Such a shame really.
How lowly they value this project is immediately obvious from their physical appearance and lack of enthusiasm when announcing it. They only wore apparel for their own projects, and stood in front of a poster for their own work, as opposed to the numerous CP2077 merchandise CDPR has already put out there.
Now fuck off back to your containment board, retarded shillfaggot.
>"Yoshinari as character designer at this point of his career is absolutely insane."
>OP's picture is literally just a Kaneda clone
Why does this game bring out tremendous level of autism and cope from it's shills?
I promise this anime will be forgotten one month after it premieres. It's the Trigger way
You know that the character designer of a show, on top of designing dozens, possibly hundreds of characters between mains and extras, has to oversee his designs through all the animation process, right? Taking this job means that Yoshinari won't direct or work extensively on anything else for the next two years, which speaks volumes of how highly Trigger is regarding this project.
>Yoshinari as character designer at this point of his career is absolutely insane
Are you a retard? The character designer is the second most senior position on a production after the director/series director, and Imaishi's got 10 years up on Yoshinari in directorial experience.
>Two years to develop a licenced Netflix tie-in
The implication is the opposite to what you said. They're working on other stuff, and will do Cyberpunk whenever they feel like it. Just like CDPR.
>Are you a retard?
Are you? Yoshinari has close to 10 years of directorial career at this point. Going back to character designer for an all star project shows how prestigious it's intended to be.
Yoshinari is so cute bros
>The implication is the opposite to what you said.
There is no such implication. The team for Cyberpunk has no other projects at hand.
>How highly they value this project was immediately apparent from the staff they put together for it.
>Yoshinari won't direct or work extensively on anything else for the next two years, which speaks volumes of how highly Trigger is regarding this project
>Going back to character designer for an all star project shows how prestigious it's intended to be.
Is CDPR out here drugging people or something? What is this delusion? How much are they paying their shills?
>legitimate, informed arguments vs autistic animators awkward on camera
Give up, shitposter.
He's been directing since 2014, Imaishi since 2004, 1999 if you want to count the episode of Medarot he directed. Imaishi is also the founding director of Trigger, and while Yoshinari played an instrumental role in the studio's early projects, his intention was always to help Imaishi, and the studio's always to focus on Imaishi's directorial talent. Suffice to say having Imaishi as a director would exclude Yoshinari from the role, since as far as the directorial pipeline is concerned Imaishi is more senior, especially in his own studio. Since Yoshinari is by far the most experienced animator at Trigger (and one of the most talented in the industry) it's natural he would be in the highest position in the animation pipeline. You don't go "back" to character designer from director, they're entirely different branches of the production.
>Over exaggerated, baseless claims full of onions, vs actual reaction to the project from it's creators
Yeah, you should give up indeed, shill. And go the fuck back to your containment board.
One company they're currently doing a contracted anime for is western, and the other is eastern with Tsuburaya's Gridman, so really they're slaves to both sides of the world, like doing double-handed handjobs to the East and the West. Surely this can't be healthy?
Too early to tell I feel. No doubt it will look good and have tons of kinetic energy throughout, but it's the story that has me a bit worried. Knowing how the plot in most Trigger shows always go nuts and that this is based on a video game that hasn't even come out, I don't know how they can make a story and air it (assumingly) next year.
Didn't trigger get into a scandal about not paying their animators too? what the hell are they selling their souls for?
I think they mentioned it would share nothing with the game except aesthetic
It's not coming out until 2022. Trigger is going to wait to see the reaction to the game before they think about putting any effort into it, all the while just taking that Netflix bux.
I don't see why people are so dead-set to hate this. I think that a cyberpunk setting with wicked craziness and passionate characters could be ideal for a Trigger project. I think people are only hating it because this franchise has become trendy/popular, so we've got to assume it's bad. If it is something even remotely like AKIRA it would be cool. Fuck it, you'll all watch it anyway. It will almost certainly be more interesting to see than whatever will be airing at the same time, which I assume will be the usual safe blandness, guaranteed.
the two things that get Zig Forums furious unfailingly is Zig Forums and Trigger
That just shows that CDPR is absurdly rich af, I can't even fathom the gargantuan amount of cash they are throwing their way to make Imaishi direct TV again and have Yoshinari as character designer. They even got motherfucking Akira Yamaoka to make the OST, it's insane.
>I don't see why people are so dead-set to hate this
Its shills are some of the most annoying, autistic, soi-filled faggots on the internet. Look at this thread, it's baseless claim after baseless claim.
It's the worst fanbase since Naruto.
Yoshinari has been directing since 2012, 2010 if you count his PSG episode, 2008 if you count the TTGL short he directed. Since the beginning Trigger has tried to diversify it's output by relying on directors other than just Imaishi, and at this point both Yoshinari and Amemiya have consistent directorial careers. Normally a director at the point of his career Yoshinari is at wouldn't act as the character designer for someone else's show when he could direct his own, especially since Trigger has no shortage of character designers. He's clearly involved in Edgerunners in this position because they wanted to assemble the best possible team.
I just want Imaishi to top Dead Leaves already and theirs no way he's going to with this
Yoshinari character designs might be cute though
>shills
We all steal anime here, it doesn't matter. Why does it bother you?
>>Over exaggerated, baseless claims
Which you haven't been able to disprove or counter? Okay.
The same reason that cat ripped off its owners ear for acting like a retard. Soi is annoying.
Apparently they've already paid him for it going by recent news. Have you heard?
Shills for whom? Netflix?
>Apparently
So it isn't confirmed yet? That's kinda shitty. Is trigger being paid with copies of the cyberpunk game instead of cash for these projects?
