Watched a bit of Maison Ikkoku after finding some lewds of Kyoko I liked. Also, is Akemi a shameless slut for the whole show or that just the beginning? Also stumbled upon Maris the Chojo by chance and it was pretty fun.

Haunted Junction, Legend of Himiko and Takeru Yamato. Shit but somewhat entertaining.
You guys must be very boring in real life.
Only discussing the same 20 or 30 things over and over and over, forever.
Bitch shut the fuck up nobody was talking about Maris the Chojo last time open your fucking eyes.
Get a life. You post the same damn thing in every thread. The only repetitive one is you.
Me and my friends watched Mad Bull 34.
>Maris the Chojo
The beach scene is full of UY references. It's pretty good and the ending subverted my expectations in a good way because maris didn't deserve a happy ending desu
I've been watching some mecha classics since its a genre I've haven't seen much of. 0079 was a slog, except for the ending, but Macross is the best show I've seen in ages. Are the movies good enough for Ideon? Is the original Yamato worth watching or is 2199 a good enough replacement?
I'm rewatching Mobile Suit 0079 and I'm going to finish it this time.
Akemi is one of the best girls in the show
>tfw no shameless alcoholic gf
just started
of course the plebian prefers telenovela macross to 79.
Been watching 70's Devilman, Ashita no Joe and Yawara
2 episodes into the Mahoutsukai Tai! OVA. Its really fun so far, what do you guys think of it?
I've been reading the manga of Devilman. Ashita no Joe is up there as one of my all time favorites.
I started watching City Hunter but only sparingly. I might pick up something else
Gunsmith cats.
NSFW-ish image. Watched Cleopatra, which was kind of a fucking mess but I was very entertained. It’s probably the weakest one out of the 3 sex films, but it’s... okay. It looked good and I can see that its experimentation may’ve had influence in the medium but the comedy falls flat all the time. Belladonna aged great because it’s a story of sexual liberation and systematic oppression, and it’s full of beautiful art. Still, it’s... fun. But I would never watch it again.
So do I. The manga's art style is just so raw it fascinates me.
What did you guys think of Infinite Ryivus? Been a while since I've been so captivated to see what happens next.
I checked the archives and apparently there is some seriously mental ill guy who hates this anime?
You are in for a treat if you have never watched it before. Enjoy!
Funny thing is I have started to rewatch Brain Powerd. I haven't watched it since the time the french version was on TV a while ago...
the movie version of ideon has the more notorious ending. wether its better or worse you have to decide for yourself
Good luck user!
How much Yasuhiko manga hasn't been translated yet? Origin, Venus Wars, Rebel Sword (pictured) and Joan had official translations and a fair few others are scanlated but how many haven't yet?
Finally sitting down and watching Orange Road. It's cute so far, although I just read a lot of Maison Ikkoku beforehand and it feels a lot weaker in comparison.
Also watched Belladonna of Sadness on a whim and was shocked by how good it was.
I rewatched Horus recently, and also watched for the first time both Panda Kopanda films which were surprisingly pretty good. The first one's especially great, legitimately funny and very charming. I've also watched the first few episodes of Heidi and 1971 Lupin. Heidi's nothing but hits so far, every episode is excellent. Heidi's a cutie. Lupin kinda sucks, but I'm only a few episodes in. Really, just waiting for Miyazaki and Takahata to take over.
>was shocked by how good it was.
Watch 1001 Nights now, it is almost as good if not better.
Never heard of it, what's it about?
The first time I watched Belladonna, I only made it a few minutes in, hated it. Later on I decided to catch it in theatres, really liked it. Funny how things can change like that, either way it's a pretty good movie. Still need to watch the other two animeramas.
That was pretty much my relationship with it. I wasn't into it at the start, I've seen a lot of slideshow arthouse "animation" and didn't expect it to be all too different from something like Tori no Uta. After sticking with it for like 20 minutes and Jean began her descent into madness it really picked up though, and the limited animation was used to great effect when mixed with the occasional moments where it got extremely experimental and surreal.
It's good, the girls were hot and they did the whole premise of kids stuck on a space ship really well.
Legendary soundtrack too, I think that added a ton. More than the big screen I think the theatre sound setup is what really helped win me over. Psychedelic.
