I read the first chapter of Sailor V, it is better than Sailor Moon, I can relate to Minako's love of idols.

I'm a few episodes into Lupin, pretty rough start if I'm being honest. I'm also a few episodes into Heidi, and that's excellent so far. Doremi is one I watched a long time ago, but only the first season. Should give it another chance one day.

Sadly, these stories never (well, rarely ever) even give the bad girls a chance. So many of them deserved better.

The first couple Lupin episodes follow the tone of the manga quite well, but were controversial which is why Miyasan and Paku were hired to handle the rest of the show.

Episode 4 is Lupin in prison? That was the last one I watched. Wouldn't say it sold me on the show or anything but I do think it's the best so far. Jigen stopping Fujiko from breaking in was a hilarious recurring gag and I think Lupin's breakout strategy was clever. And for Doremi, I think I made it about halfway through Sharp. Just kinda burnt out on it, didn't care for the baby stuff. But it's one I intend on giving a second chance. Top left is Wanpaku Ouji no Orochi Taiji.

Are you literally this retarded or just pretending to be? Either very weak bait, or prove that you are completely new to anime and manga.
It's not just the tone, the first bunch of episodes are just really poorly made. Like, awful cutting, no continuity between scenes, missing information, bad pacing. The episode with the witch in the flower field was the worst offender, but the magician episode sucked as well. I have to imagine there's a certain assumption that the viewer's read the chapters in question.

It's hard to choose for me between it and Horus. I think Orochi's probably the more complete package and I love the background art, but Horus is ambitious as fuck with more interesting writing, and the acting's incredible. Even if it's a little rougher around the edges. I'm planning a bit of a Toei marathon right now, to revisit some old favourites and fill in the blanks of stuff I've never seen. Notably Puss n Boots and Animal Treasure Island
Puss in Boots is up there, very fun movie.
