Feeling bad about it afterwards doesn't really help anybody. It's absolutely tragic, yes, but in this case it feels more like you did the worst and now leave it to everyone else to clean up your mess. If he completely destroys the world, he'd better live out the last four years of his life alive and watch if his wish for a freer world (born from blood) really would have come true. Yeah, that makes sense. But I was thinking,could this video be a red herring? It's a bit of an odd move to allude to the end of the manga in this manner. Now, I think the genocide ending makes the most sense for Eren and his character arc but maybe it's another way to surprise the readers. I'm sure that Iseyama knew that people would deduce what this video portrays in a short amount of time after the last chapter.
