This death was too real. Shit came out of nowhere and it felt realistic. Not everyone dies fighting enemies or stopping a train or sacrificing themselves. Some just die falling down the stairs. And I've seen accidents like this happen irl too. Kino storytelling oda
One Piece
wan piss
This is the 100th time I've seen this panel and everytime I can't help but laugh.
My side
Based. This is what makes Zoro's backstory sad. His childhood friend didn't die some overly romantic death like bravely facing some powerful foe or protecting the dojo against overwhelming odds but a pathetic one like falling down the stairs. A promising swordsman like her dying like this is what fueled the oath Zoro made with her even further. The person that beat him 2001 times died the fucking stairs. It's up to Zoro to show they are better than this.
bro i think it's implied she killed herself when she realised zoro is becoming stronger in a fast pace and her eventual defeat
>headcanon
It's still shit
OKAY..
elaborate
Okay
Implying it's not revealed she 500IQ faked her death somehow and went off to train to beat Zoro
This is the tashigifag ship origin story
Okay...
Okay...
she probably just slipped
bro her body is literally there cold in front of everyone, why would the adult teachers do this to the children
Fucking NPC bugmen
Open casket funeral

Set Fail for Wan Pissu
ur a decoy
How do you die from falling down the stairs in One Piece? Everyone is made out of retardedly strong material.
oda draws the hottest girls in shounen
So Zoro just need to defeat the stairs!
Would you?
IT'S CALLED ONE PIECE! NOT WAN PISS!! ONE PIECE!!!!!!!!!!
Reread/rewatch early OP. Average people not in the Grand Line are extremely weak and get bullied easily (and even average Paradise people are flimsy-ish). Looking back, Kuina's death is still somewhat odd and arguably symbolic for suicide, but it's definitely in line with someone dying in East Blue.
The fact that she's the granddaughter of a great Wano swordsmith does make things odder. But then again, One Piece has also subtly hinted at the power of genetics to make a family line stronger or weaker. Two weak East Blue brides (the grandfather's and Koshiro's) could be all it takes for a strong family to become forever weak.
I can't tell if this is genuine seething or not.
Ah, a spin on the usual shitpost thread. Nice.
True, the entire point of zoro's backstory is "shit happens".
In zoro's mind kuina was his ultimate goal, he never defeated her even once. For her to die like that was really unthinkable for zoro, they promised each other that one of them will be the strongest swordsman in the world. But shit happens, she died the next day, she died in a very shitty fashion. She didn't die because she lost fighting against strong enemy, she didn't die for protecting her honor, she didn't die in the way she wouldn't regret, she died because she fell from the stairs. That's not how the future strongest swordsman should die, but in fact she did die like that. just like what his sensei said, humans are fragile beings. You can be a big shot all you want, you can have gigantic dream but when shit happens, you'll die just like that.
>user believes she fell down the stairs.
user, I dont know how to say this but she she killed herself, because she couldnt deal with possibly never be a great sword master, because she was a female
she'll be back, almost no one dies in one piece
