Not very far into this (episode 17), but the author clearly buys into the fascist mindset of the world as an inevitable eternal struggle, where strength and the ability to inflict violence are the truest test of character and those who deny the need for it are the greatest fools, and the ability to reinvigorate a corrupt, decadent world through war.

Out of curiosity, for the people who think Eren isn't the father and doesn't love Historia, why do they think he's so hellbent on protecting her?
At every turn, he has tried to explore options that save Paradise without demanding that she die. He gets incredibly frustrated in every conversation where someone says that they must consider her expendable. At the end of his rope, when time ran out, he chose HER over the lives of the entire world. I just don't understand this motivation if all she is to him is a good friend pregnant with some stranger's baby.
I might be a brainlet when it comes to political ideologies, but isn't struggle a communist concept by Marx?
Truth is, EH was the plot from the start.
>absolute power means you are able to win and create the vision of your world and those who oppose you must have the strength do so
sounds like good character motivation to me user, you know its just a manga right?
Others find meaning in something.
But Happy Floch shard
will Floch be there during the final confrontation or will it be Eren all alone?
Its hilarious reading the old threads.
those EM shitters and YH shitters are the ones drawing the goreposts 100%, the amount of cope that is coming in the coming months will be insurmountable
He'll BTFO someone before (when I mean before, I mean moments before the confront begins) or during the final battle. He's taking a few ones with him.
People just don't like the idea that Eren would rather hurt and possibly kill AMJCSHL than put Historia in danger because they don't like her as much as they like the others. And it ruins their ships.
It will be glorious
based Flochbro keeping up the good fight
Lol, even if Mikasa did stop right at that moment, Hisu would still be mortally wounded. Her desperation would amount to nothing and nothing can be done to save her.
Based Russianbro. This HOAD will be greater than the last two combined. Only naive anons think otherwise. The main reason is because both MCs from the last two didn't kill the girl that liked them while another girl is already with his child.
This is what you deserve for taking my Ereh

Oh my god you are so fucking dumb

Es war ein König in Thule,
Gar treu bis an das Grab,
Dem sterbend seine Buhle
Einen goldnen Becher gab.
Es ging ihm nichts darüber,
Er leert' ihn jeden Schmaus;
Die Augen gingen ihm über,
So oft er trank daraus.
Und als er kam zu sterben,
Zählt' er seine Städt' im Reich,
Gönnt' alles seinem Erben,
Den Becher nicht zugleich.
Er saß beim Königsmahle,
Die Ritter um ihn her,
Auf hohem Vätersaale,
Dort auf dem Schloß am Meer.
Dort stand der alte Zecher,
Trank letzte Lebensglut,
Und warf den heil'gen Becher
Hinunter in die Flut.
Er sah ihn stürzen, trinken
Und sinken tief ins Meer.
Die Augen täten ihm sinken
Trank nie einen Tropfen mehr.
this was nice, sad but nice
There was a king in Thule,
So faithful to the grave.
His love, when she was dying,
a goblet of gold him gave.
He used to love it deeply,
And always drank from it.
His eyes they filled with tears
Whenever he emptied it.
And when his time to die came
He counted all his wealth,
And everything gave to his heirs,
But only kept that cup.
He sat at the royal banquet,
With all his knights around,
In his forefathers' lofty hall
There in his castle by the sea.
There stood the old carouser,
And drank life's final glow,
Then threw the holy goblet far
Deep down into the waves.
He watched it fall, and drinking
it sank deep into the sea.
He closed his eyes forever,
And never drank a drop more.

will anime-onlies like them?
Incredibly based
If the "some see something beyond that hell, though it may be another hell" speech has any merit to it, it might mean Eren thinks the rules of the world are what they are and there's no sense in not trying to play by those rules. Maybe in a new world there will be new rules, though the new rules might be just another type of hell.
But from what I've watched of the anime, when he stabbed those guys attacking him and young Mikasa the direction of the anime focused on insects and animals preying on each other, implying a harsh naturalism. Though this sort of runs both ways. Either Eren accepts the world for what it is, or discounts humanity as nothing more than animals.
I wouldn't mind Mikasa as the third wheel for Historia and Farmer, but sadly it too retarded to be true.
