You know I really wonder just why any Euro index looks like this just shifted to the right a bit. All Euro indeces had their top in the year 2000. Even the British FTSE or the CAC-40 (pic related). The only major Euro index that isnt garbage is the fucking DAX. Just why? I know the French economy is shit but the German isnt really that much better. And quite similiar to the British. And the fucking FTSE 100 had higher values in 1999 than it has now. For fucks sake.
