There are plenty of things wrong with the VS fanbase. They suck off Askeladd like they're being paid, they're more pretentious than Evafags despite this series being so comparatively shallow, they think this series is somehow novel despite it being a typical battle shonen thrown into Viking times that doesn't even feel like or put focus on Viking life, and I'm not even mentioning post-prologue. I don't think women is what's wrong with it.
