I think I am done with this life boys. Saved the $14 for my last McDonload mean.
Buy options they said
**MEal.
Hahahaha this cant be real.
rip my dude, never buy options is the lesson learned here
I saw everyone making big bucks on options and I thought I would give it try and turns out I am just retarded.
it's ok user i lost 250k
Im the same tho. I lost most of my margin account. Still salty as a mofo. Didnt lose 45k tho kek.
Dude nobody makes money on short term options
You have to buy them long term for a year or buy stocks instead I learned my lesson a while ago bought options 35 dollar calls on Friday for the lulz and immediately lost it
I lost a grand when I actually did options though
smart man
enjoy the 2 big macs and fries bud
I saved most of that money flipping patties and working at papa bezos warehouse..my dream of slamming my downpayment on a house is gone.....
I may have swung my linkies and lost a few thousand but at least I'm not OP
I'll remember this next time some zoomer warren buffet wanna be is telling me about how good trading options is and how they made 500%
Post your last trade son.
i am up a total of 30 dollars on options
so you are wrong
have only made 2 options trades tho
Dog...
i tried options with $600 and lost it all. sometimes I feel like that's a cheap options lesson compared to some of you anons
>Dude nobody makes money on short term options
You have to buy them long term for a year
that's not necessarily true. you can buy short term options and if it moves in the right direction it can moon quick. a few months ago i bought USO calls and like an hour later Trump tweeted some nonsense that made USO moon. the options fucking skyrocketed immediately.
you do have to get lucky or really know what you're doing. i know a few guys who are really good at TA that make fucking bank buying options. and a lot of people make consistent profits by selling options and collecting premium.
Best part is had I kept my entire stack in ETH, then I would be been 70%.
I think they're best for blue moon events a couple times a year, and small bets
basically the ones that are almost given to you as gifts rather than trying to seek out a play
This is my first option buy
Idk what I'm doing but I went all in
Let this be a lesson to other Zig Forumsnessmen that derivatives are not to be fucked with.
this. for instance buying puts after seeing the corona leaks on Zig Forums a month before the media took it seriously
Yeah..I didn't what the fuck I was doing either. I just keep on dollar-cost averaging like stocks and shit kept down every day and expired..
> off by 3 cents
so close user
you didnt know what you were doing and risked $45k in options?
user, for your sake i hope that was less than 20% of your net worth
I feel you bro, I'd be up 30k more if I just held my crypto. still havent learned my lesson though
Well, I thought I could dump it before it reaches a certain lvl, If I was going under. After some research, I realized something called IV being too high and the premiums fucking me over. Never following those wallstreetbets fags again.
Youre supposed to buy the NEXT contract not the same one lmao
>didn't learn how to use spreads
>didn't learn how to use TA
>didn't thoroughly research the stocks you were buying
>bought meme stocks with high volatility
Come on dude.
yeah exactly, or a btc blow off top with insane volume after a mania
>29 contracts
>I don't know what I'm doing
>give it try
Give it a try.... doesn't mean put your life savings in it
im surprised you were even able to save 45k with that pea in your head.
Yeah I'm nervous come Monday
The shit keep falling and I kept averaging by buying the same contract.
glad i only lost 600$ instead of 45k
