I finished Kimagure Orange Road a month ago (well, the series and first film), and now I'm going through the OVAs and will finish it off with the second film. The first film was good, but was gut wrenching. Fuck it! Why didn't they just end it the same way the manga ended?
I'm also doing a "watch a random episode of Bebop" until I watch all 26 episodes to try and relive the Adult Swim feeling.
I just finished up my UC Gundam grand prix, now I need other mecha shit to watch. I've seen Superdimension Fortress Macross and Voltron, but have missed probably more than a few "iconic" series. Redpill me on LotGH, is it actually worth all those episodes?
OP here I've had that on my backlog for a long time. I think I'll start that after I go through Maison Ikkoku. I should add that I'm watching Urusei Yatsura, but I'm watching it very slowly whenever I feel like watching an episode. I might start watching it more frequently along with LotGH, and make that my 2021 goal, because 2022 will be devoted to Macross.

>Redpill me on LotGH, is it actually worth all those episodes? Yes it is.
You dont have passion if you dont at least you watch an episode per day.

I don't want to get burned out watching it, since there are a lot of episodes. I had to take breaks when rewatching InuYasha last year. Madoka is a 10/10 waifu, especially with the way the manga ends.
Wicked City was fucking awesome, goddamn it was good. I watched about 20 mins of Demon City but it was noticeably more shit in every way. Did it get better? Wicked City has such a cool setting and tone.

Picked up Jin Roh and the Kare Kano DVD set at a book store recently, I love these old DVD releases cause they always come with extra shit like interviews and fun behind the scenes content Blu Rays don't.

Yeah. The two are different. Same premise, same cast, though there are a few manga only characters, who significantly change the dynamic (Yusuke has a rival fighting for Hikaru's affection). However, the anime episodes are mostly anime original, though some follow the manga chapters or are based around them. Both are episodic, so it's easy to jump around and you don't really need to start from the beginning of the manga to get into it if you've already watched the anime. Also, the manga takes place over 3 years, while the anime one year. The ending of the two are completely different though, I mean the movie vs the manga ending.
nice i'll check it out, seems worthwhile enough best quality for best girl also completely in love with this AMV/karaoke youtube.com/watch?v=tZa1wtJQM1w

In my scripting class we’ve been tasked to create presentations/video editorials of films we love (not in terms of writing, just why we like them overall) and I chose Royal Space Force. Wish me luck anons.
Finished episode 36 of City Hunter. Episode 35 had a lot of QUALITY while 36 had a lot better animation. It's a bit ironic to have Ryo and Kaori talk about relying on each other as partners while in the anime Kaori has been pretty useless so far. The scene doesn't have the same impact as in the manga.
Episode 36 had some nice car chase scenes. I've noticed that old anime has a lot better animation involving machines or animals. Nowadays it's usually animated in cg. I get that it's difficult to animate but I feel like hand-drawn animals or machinery is becoming a lost art. Don't animators learn how to properly draw those things or is it just too time consuming for anime production schedules these days?

Those are quite a lot of episodes. Do you maraton them all or spread them over a longer period?
