Muh sheep and muh 3DCG. I personally feel that 3DCG is fine as long as animals (including humans) aren't 3DCG. Stuff like buildings, vehicles, totally OK. Lets animators spend more time drawing animals, where the detail needs to be.

Because after years of secondaries that didn't read the novels fellating the series as some kind of deep and philosophical literary masterpiece the new anime came and revealed to them that most stories are dumb fun and action, making them really mad. The slow meltdown the ANN reviewer had during the season was hilarious
