What's the right order to watch the OVAs?

What's the right order to watch the OVAs?

amon was such a buzz killer with changed design man. I didn't even care watching anything after that. Is Crybaby even worth watching or is it just a netflix shitty anime which does not even feel like anime?

>Is Crybaby even worth watching or is it just a netflix shitty anime which does not even feel like anime?
Crybaby's worth it just for Yuasa style and soundtrack.

Crybaby is fucking bizarre. It's fun but the ending is super trash.

Amon is non canon and takes place before the final battle of the manga. Devilman Lady only borrows elements from the manga but it is it's own thing. Violence Jack I don't know but I think it's also an alternate sequel of sorts that takes place before the final fight of the manga.

I just want to see a complete adaptation of the manga it's the only reason i felt tempted towards crybaby.

It's definitely not a complete adaptation of the manga. It's like a re-imagining of it.

those edm tracks are so good

I liked Crybaby but I haven't watched the OVA yet. I'm still reading the manga.

release order is always the right order, what's so hard to understand?

So you watch Star wars 4,5,6,1,2,3,7,8,9?

Crybaby is good but different, I just wouldn't start with it since I think it spoils Ryo being a villain at the beginning, at least I remember being surprised by the manga reveal where Crybaby makes him look super shady from the start.

>Star wars
sorry, i'm not a s o i boy

yes

I would if I was a faggot and watched star wars

How else would you watch it? Would you wait until eps 1, 2 and 3 came out before watching 4 if they weren't already out?

not that user, but crybaby was my first exposure to the devilman story and I spent nearly the whole thing second guess if the spoiler was true or only seemed that way due to not knowing the full plan. though I was comparing it to the plot of the shin megami tensei games since it became immediately obvious how big of an inspiration the original devilman had been for them, especially the third game since it begins with the MC getting turned into a "demon with the heart of a human" by a certain blond guy

Nice bait, Kine-san.

Now that all movies are released the right way is to watch it chronologically

>7,8,9
good one

But then the reveal that Vader is Luke's father loses all impact, since you know it already.

I think it was only a mystery when the first movies were released. Now even people who never watched the movie knows this

>star wars
to make it Zig Forums related
So you watch Haruhi or Kara no Kyoukai chronologically?

In this specific case yes, but talking generally about stories told out of chronological order, they're told like that for a reason. You're usually only spoiling yourself by watching in chronological order.

>with the changed designs
i dont know..
ryo looked kinda great

>watching shit

Where does Demon Bird fits in? Should I watch The Birth first and then Demon Bird and other ones?
If I follow your advice I'd have to watch:
violence jack: slumking, devilman the birth, violence jack: evil town, devilman: the demon bird, violence jack: hell's wind and then devilman lady

>amon was such a buzz killer with changed design man
Shit opinion
Crybaby redesigns sucked for the most part and strays from nagais style.

>If I follow your advice I'd have to watch:
>violence jack: slumking, devilman the birth, violence jack: evil town, devilman: the demon bird, violence jack: hell's wind and then devilman lady
and? vj is its own thing, devilman too and lady also

Since the OVA didn't completely adapt the manga, you can watch the Birth and then Demon Bird, but then there is nothing leading to Amon.

Oh, ok. Thanks!

the only design crybaby improved was satan's.
prove me wrong
