Because no matter how strong you are you can't do everything by yourself. Or so the message of the arc was.
Jiren was strong enough to win against the ONLY power-up in existence that could possibly defeat him - And it still wasn't enough because now he was completely exhausted and forced to fight 1v3. And even though he still tears through all their attacks, eventually he is simply outsmarted because his opponents are all working together. He's rammed out in a mutual ring-out while one of his opponents was literally fucking hiding the whole time and thus wins by default since he's the last man standing.
