The first arc was great , enjoyed farmland but was bored to death in the arc after farmland so i dropped it . has it gotten better anons?

I don't think vinland fans even enjoy nu-farmland vinland.

The quality has stayed consistent throughout the entire series.
It's because knuckle draggers were expecting a historical action series and instead they got something unique. Basically, they were filtered.

It's worse. The continuous dip after farmland has been tremendous. There are some decent chapters, but in its entirety nothing after farmland has been the same quality as the earlier series, and the slogfest that was the Baltic Sea War was horrible to read as it was being published.
Another timeskip only further soured the mood, since it omitted more interesting things that could have been explored in the place of a years long arc that was both uninteresting and overlong.

The arc right after farmland with Jomsvikings is great, but the current arc right after that is very slow. Best boy Thorkell is in it of course.

I dropped it after farmland. Not because I got bored or anything, but because I've taken to reading about Canute the Great after binging the whole series (which was, at the time of my reading, when Thorfinn returns home).

Basically, I spoiled myself.

If you put the entire arc together it still has less depth than the Snake vs runaway slavr dillema from farmland. Thorfinn in his actual state is even less than a character than he was in the prologue. Also the answer to avoid violence being pseudo-violence is stupid and defeats Thorfinn hipocrisy no matter how much Yukimura wants to paint him in a good light.

I personally felt Hild was a fine character, but you cant tell me she's worse than tranny Thorkell
