Applied to over 150 jobs. No offers.
Applied to UBS, Julius Baer, Vontobel, all the cryptofirms, insurance firms, etc.

Tips on other firms or job boards appreciated. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or its just hard to get in.

Your resume probably sucks

Go back to your third world shithole , we are full.

are you nonwhite?

1) be italian
we italian have good consideration of you switzy
also we speac the same language

we are frens
i love you switzies

>experience in data analytics
PHD in statistics here
Could you ell me which model did you use in your equity trading experience
I don't wanna hire you. It's just curiosity

I am white, heterosexual, blue eyed nordic.

I've done equity arbitrage, no real models, just top notch execution speed. And traded options using a simple cubic spline model.

I unironically love this mindset, hence my aim for Switzerland. A xenophobic, punctual, cold country, is what I need. Also the flag is a big plus.

that's a man

as if thats a criteria, I work in geneva and its full of mutts and nigs and antifa faggots

My preference is zug / zurich, but will take other cities as well. Desperate to go. Any tips?

>Fluent in English and basic level of German.
Here is your problem. Learn language, then apply. Why would they talk inEnglish to you all day when 2 billion people want your job worldwide?

Try your luck in Cyprus building algorithms that launder mo ey better for wealthy Russians

Thanks makes sense. I will put fluent in German on my resume and see if it helps.

>applies for job in switzerland
>can't speak german, french, italian and english

How well do you speak German exactly?
Swiss will just laugh in your face and tell you to fuck off during the first month if you can't commincuate in that horrendous Germanic accent of theirs
Gruss gott

don't you think this might be a problem when the job interview is conducted in German kek

Not sure what your point is. I am fluent in Danish, Spanish and English. Had jobs in 3 different countries. I don't think my resume sucks that much.

Here is me thinking finance at the highest level is conducted in English.

>building algorithms that launder mo ey better for wealthy Russians
How can algo launder money? I mean money is treacable.. it cames in and out and you can track it.. so what am I missing?

Basic. I can understand and speak, but certainly not comfortable in German. Had 5 years in high school and it does look a bit like my native language, but that's it.

How is the population. Tired of non white immigrants.

Have you ever been to Switzerland? Immigrants are at the every street corner there. I bet you would be better off living in Denmark. Don't be greedy.

There's many methods of Laundering money and banks and regulators are aware of these methods. So if you wire 10k euros or more from bank A to bank B the internal systems of the banks will notify a human employee who starts looking at the customer.
They use a lot of algorithms to launder money so you should be able in theory to build an algorithm that launder money

Cyprus is 99% cypriot

i'm not trying to be a dick, i just think it's a bit fanciful to apply for a job in a country where you don't speak the language. They will have plenty of well-qualified applicants who can.

And sure international finance is conducted in English, but are you seriously suggesting there won't be general chat around the office in native languages?

If you're desperate to go to swiss, maybe apply to a London office and try and get a transfer once you're in. More jobs to apply for that way as well

idk im just a blue collar, all I know is you'd be fine here even if you only speak english, and even if there is a lot of non whites its still a very clean and secure place because there is no poor peoples here

Try Credit Suisse. They are shady and like diversity hiring

Thanks!
No worries, thanks for the feedback mate.
That is actually cool shit. I wrote a ML algo once to detect suspicious trades in the option market (to trade WITH them). I spoke to some people at banks and I know more or less how their anti money laundering algos work. If I would write a simple system to counter this, how would I monetize it without landing in jail?

>If I would write a simple system to counter this, how would I monetize it without landing in jail?
Uhh
Not sure. Cyprus is home to a lot of shady shit so they probably have their ways to hide it

forget about it user
Im a native german speaker and cant understand these swiss faggots with their horrible accent

German and swiss arent even really the same language. If your german is anything but superb you wont understand jack shit in swiss german.
