Do you think it is possible to teach yourself with the books and information? Or past a certain level you will need a professor to understand? A while back I had a link to courses including math that you could learn from basic arithmetic all the way to quantum mechanics and nuclear physics. Lost the link now but really wanted to explore them, they had the books to study out of and everything.

I am not sure if you are familiar with him, but it is basically like meditating in silence, instead of focusing on your breathing or anything else though, he says to clear your mind/vessel so that God can fill you with his Holy Spirit.

Well the account from the guy who wrote the book is definitely interesting, the reddit post goes over it in the second part. The lucid dream he had, the way it communicated with him and his recovery. The part about him living an exciting life reminded me of one of the ending scenes in the movie The VVitch, where the devil'/goat was talking to the girl to entice her.

it will be unique and personal for everyone

however, with that comes expectations for faith
He will ask you to do things that seem weird or irrelevant, and only become clear once you follow through
and the revelations build and stack on each other
