I always felt like Volume 100 is a bigger milestone. This is a thing people are actually going to see on the shelves and buy. Also, volume 96 teased incoming volume 100. And it's probably gonna cover more or less chapters 1006~1016, so pretty close to 1000. So he might actually prioritize this one for some huge event.
