part 4 is pretty bad, no one can deny it.
It has the worst of both world
It is under stylized unlike part 3 while not being realistic like part 7.
Part one and 2 were overshaded to make you overlook bad proportions.
It´s kinda weird how part 3 grows on me in retrospect and part 4 gets worse on time cause Zig Forumsnons hyped Kira way too much up but i am still cooming seeing DIO get beat down.

rewatching part 5 today and I cant help but notice how bad some scenes look, if it isnt a close up of characters everything looks like shit? more specifically if the characters are far away from the screen they look terrible

I don't know if it's the reason but they upped the shading in part 5 so that probably had an impact on their ability to focus on drawing other things as well as their ability to actually animate things. There are a few really well animated parts in it but mostly it's nothing special. Plus the pacing sucks and that's been my opinion of basically the entire anime.

both Parts 3 and 4 look fucking terrible. Part 3 seemingly blew all its budget well before they even got close to Egypt and becomes a slideshow.
Part 4 is a mushy gushy mess that is so inconsistent and bad and wobbly looking that I honestly think it was some CalArts studio trying to do realism and failing.
and then David Production went on to make Fire Force, an absolute piece of shit devoid of personality with boring characters, boring story, boring fighting, and boring locations a high budget laboriously animated masterwork that looks great. Fuck David Production.

I honestly don't understand how you can dislike 5 more than 6. 5 has the worst villain and 6 one of the best but 6 is outright painful to read with so few good fights you can count them on one hand. Part 5 is almost nonstop kino fights among the best in the series the entire time.

Fire Force was made by a completely different set of people and also the second season apparently is a massive step down from the first. Apparently some of the biggest people from the Shaft exodus didn't/aren't working on Fire Force so maybe we can see them on the part 6 anime whenever that happens. I was always saying it would be hilarious if part 6 ended up being the best produced anime adaptation since it gets so much hate.

I agree that the fights in 6 aren't great, part 5 honestly has terrific fights. I think I hate part 5 because Giorno is so uninteresting, Passione is so ... I dont know... I just really dont like them, and Diavolo is just evil to be evil , he isn't as charming as DIO and he's easily beaten?
Part 6s intro, end, cast and Pucci+ending saved it hard for me
