I hate seeing an isekai MC not paying attention to what's most important. It can cost them more than just lost time.

I thought it's sort of aleady started with the people in Asora, just without anything official. Tamaki is probably managing any power collected, Shima might not want anything to do with religion for awhile if ever, and Mio's form of worship isn't available to anyone else but Tomoe right now.

There has to be a head priestess eventually. The question is who.

Tamaki would be the obvious choice for that since she doesn't do that much for now, although others could support her in the future.

She did get Makoto's permission to go out. She just has to show results of that.

I wonder what she would do if she could go out on her own, or when we might see her be the one he travels with alone instead of one of the other three.

Isekai stories are usually cheap power fantasies, where the mc is so broken that nothing's actually a challenge and it's all just a matter of time. I don't get the appeal. There's no need to struggle, might as well end it in 1 chapter with the death of the so called big bad and godhood of the mc or their moral breakdown, walking the path of evil, followed by their redemption arc or whatever. It's all copy and paste and the only thing that "matters" is how appealing the characters are.

I don't remember what her current task is but that would be what she would first show. Tomoe is the most independent of the 4 so far. I don't think Tamaki would stray off on her task.

She might not stray off a task, but the others have free time too. Letting her out doesn't have to mean she's only limited to doing a job and returning.

It would be interesting to see her side of things. Tamaki is the least explored follower and it would do good for her characterization.

Limiting her to Asora didn't help. For someone who has his own tiny world, we don't see him spend much time there, even if he returns most nights.

I didn't like how she mostly got ignored after the arc she appeared in, even if some of the extras mention her. I know Makoto doesn't like being reminded of her being a slave, but staying away from him too much shouldn't be necessary. Just keeping a shirt on around him should be enough to hide the mark, so no bathing with the others until she's freed.

Is this the isekai thread?

I hope she is building up a shit load of Asora credits in order to sort things out with Makoto or at least placed closer to him.

She may never be able to be at the same level as Tomoe/Mio/Shiki/Tamaki, but she should get to be high on the list of important people to him once she's free. There are other people that mostly get ignored too, but she was one of the better ones. Zef does also want grandchildren, but regardless of how difficult that will be, it's impossible while she's a slave.

Just a closer position would be better. Could be in a similar position as Ema after she does the credit reveal. Anything really.
