Seniors is a out of school club of baseball and as far as I know they play with a normal hard baseball, where they only start playing with a hardball in high school in school clubs.

One uses rubber balls and one uses real hard ball baseballs. Senior League is more of an elite experience for middle school students as it's a continuation of the Little League and transitions better into high school baseball. At least that's what I've figured from watching various baseball anime.

This show has really been trying to give me a girls in a baseball uniform fetish and the ED is pushing that even harder than the last one. I liked the song from the first one more though.

Considering the OP changed at ep 14, 26 eps seems likely. I didn't think S1 made a big splash, but this came out eventually so perhaps we'll get a S3 eventually too. I'm enjoying this season a lot more than the last one in any case.

Let me add to that Senior vs Rubber response by saying that the rubber ball is through school clubs while Senior League isn't associated with schools.

By the way, this episode is such a coincidence, because Michiru also appeared again in the manga.
