I dunno i watched first season once lol'd at moments when mc acted dumb, was glad it often led him to dying as a lesson, liked moments when he acted cool and was done, even before season 2 started i remember people who hated 1st one making threads rewatching it again just to rage at mc again or something, i dont get why people keep watching something they hate so much i guess, there some novels and shows i can't stand so i won't waste time on them after hating it once, its weird...

This might be true. Does anyone else here have like a visceral reaction to autists and in general socially retarded people? I do and I think it's because I myself am somewhat socially retarded but also self aware and able to figure out how to mask it after much trial and error, so talking to them or being around them it's like they just hit this soft spot in me.

While this may be true, SnK also lacks any charismatic villains or rivals. Reiner's a joke, Levi's dead and Jean's a pussy. MC's are not exactly the most important thing in a story you know.
