After an attack by group determined to take revenge on Kenshin, he tells his friends the story of his past. In his early days as an assassin, Kenshin received a wound on his face by a target who, though unskilled, was desperate to survive. Kenshin survives an assassination attempt, but a woman named Tomoe witnesses it, and unable to kill her, he takes her in. After the Ikedaya incident, Kenshin and Tomoe are ordered to hide in the countryside and pretend to be a married couple. But Kenshin asks her not to pretend, and so, they become husband and wife.

I've considered it (also the Live Action movies, and maybe other things), but I don't know how to do it. I have all the movies and OVAs in good quality, so I'd gladly do it, if there's enough interest, and if there's a good platform to do it with no risk of getting shut down.
Come on, I'm critical of the Hokkaido arc and I've talked about my issues with it in the threads several times, but that's unfair. It's nowhere near as shit and bland as the filler anime.

With Kaoru's "death" even with his author's notes where you see he was debating to kill her off or not there's the foreshadowing where you see Enishi and Genin talking and then the background you see this and that coming together.
It's been awhile since I've read this so I had to double check where it happened but though for this page it could be argued that it's Tomoe in the bg but the hair strands are longer and thinner and you can kind of make out a ponytail but maybe I was reaching all those years ago at that page.
