Link to the submissions?
Got most of the inking done, now I just need to get my computer repaired so that I can add dialogue and shit. Also FUCK G-pens, they're such a fucking meme.
Nice. I'm just in the stages of adding backgrounds/finishing stuff up myself.
I haven't done shit because my art is so shit it will make Boner Collection's art look like a masterwork by comparison.
I'll start tommorow.
Good plan
what did he throw at cactus man?
glass blade
I am gonna make the next act age
So you’re going to go slap JC asses?
I feel bad for all those people who have to go and filter the good stuff from the shit submissions. Because at first glance, there is a LOT of shit submission
Molestation battle manga
Keijo?
>He's already a pro!
Oh shit, didn't know Togashi was here.
I'll make my Two Piece manga.
Except someone already submitted a “Two Piece” manga
I just gave up. I got stuck with both story and drawing several times. Anyway, seeing the submissions, at least I know that I wouldn't have won so I don't feel so much regret.
I've only got a couple backgrounds and a spread to hash out. It'll be done by this upcoming weekend for sure.
I'm kinda tired of working on it though. The longer you work on something, the more you start to see the flaws in it. I personally don't like this story very much, idk, it's got a neat twist, but as I've been learning more and more about screenplay, the more I can easily pinpoint what went wrong with the story. So I kinda just wanna get it over with so I can move onto writing the next manuscripts to show an editor at Jump directly, and just get feedback on what I can do to improve.
>Couldn't even finish
>Drew 2 completed pages that's it
>There are people worse than me that have finished
>They'll finish the next time too, and the next
>Would've never won but I didn't finish
>I didn't finish
>Can job search for 10 hours
>Can work for someone else for 14 hours
>Can't convince myself to sit down for a few hours and draw
It looks really neat, I would like to see the final product
should work on panelling
>The longer you work on something, the more you start to see the flaws in it.
This can be said of all works by various artists. Look. No one said this was easy, but at least you’ve gained enough insight to plan better in the next work if this doesn’t work out
Make a Three Piece manga.
Wait, it's next week? I thought it was at the end of September.
Damn that looks good, is the main heroine a loli?
Agreed. I just want to wrap it up and move on already.
Finishing is quite literally the hardest part. Fuck the retards who say the first step is hardest, it's super easy to start something, it's fun and exciting at the start. Then once it's started you have hundreds of hours of grind ahead of you. The most painful part of this whole experience for me is right now, when I'm in the last leg and completion is only ~50 hours of work away. It's super easy to be tempted to just slack off and do something else now that most of the work is done but I know that if I let my attention slip then all that work will be jeopardized.
What's wrong with the paneling? Genuine question, if there's a flaw in it I want to identify that and hopefully improve upon it in the future. Page flow is above all else what I want to focus on.
September 1st.
I get what's happening but find it kinda confusing. Experimenting is find but maybe you should start from something basic first.
Can you help me identify what's causing the problem? I was trying to lead the eye ala the red line, but I'm a little worried that the composition leads the eye along the green line more readily.
This is one of a few pages where I'm trying out this slightly unconventional paneling, most of the paneling is a bit more normal. Pretty sure what went wrong was just placement of the foreground fill in panel 1 leading the eye down to the 6th panel instead of to the 2nd panel.
Keep in mind this is an even page so I was hoping the eye would be traveling up from the bottom of the last page, like the yellow line, but not sure it really works out like that.
Not him, but don’t use diagonals as much, makes them hard to follow. Also. For action pages you generally don’t wanna go above 3-4 panels.
