Any portubros here? Or anyone just living in Portugal? Redpill me on living there. Portugal is becoming increasingly attractive to me as a destination to flee the U.K. I really do not want to give the British gov 20+% of my crypto money in taxes, especially when it’s trying to genocide the natives, and it’s economy is on the verge of total collapse. Portugal being one of the only countries to charge no tax on crypto is a huge incentive for me to live there. What are the best steps to take to living there? Can I move if I deposit a large sum of money and/or property? Any other potential avenues like just overstaying my tourist visa and paying a fine? Does having a british passport help at all?

can only speak for the azores since im half azorean, but theyre basically the hillbillys of portugal. islands are also incredibly small and far from portugal so youll go insane quick. youre better off buying cheap real estate along the coast. look at a place called Sao Martinho do Porto, i have family close to there.
