Just watch sub, It makes more sense

If I were to get really analytical and compare scenes side by side by re-watching each one in sub vs dub I could probably come up with an argument for why the sub is better
but then again
I'm not a big gay faggot baby so I enjoy the dub quite a bit more.

I dont speak japanese lmao i cant understand shit

yeah, probably. theres a select few anime where the dub is superior.

bebop is the one always mentioned

Yes. Personal bias aside dubs in Hellsing, Champloo, Berserk fit the tone and settings better.

No. Listening to Americans is never enjoyable.

Fuck no. All of the performances are forgettable except for the fact that Steve Blum is just doing the same voice he did for Cowboy Bebop, which just doesn't fit. It's worthless.

What is a dub?

Theyre about equal. I prefer the dub for this show, but the sub is just as good.

This is actually one of the good dubbed anime
But no the sub is still better

No. It is much, much better with the original voice actors. They were at the instruction of the director who made the show, not at the instruction of a fat fucking American who doesn't understand the story.

Truth. Also Seiba voiced Fuu. Dubfags need to go back

Absolutely not.
Imagine missing out on the absolute masterpiece that is the baseball episode subbed.

It's just one of the very few cases where the dub is an acceptable personal preference.

The subs make it even better.

All American anime dubs sound like old wuxia dubs and I have no idea why you folks just can't hear that.

Nobody cares about your gay gachashit

Fuu is actually kinda ugly
She looks like she'd be a typical middle-aged rich bitch aunt.

no because Nakai voices Mugen.

Nah

No because mugen is voiced by kazuya nakai. He has best swordsman voice.

This guy gets it. Listening to hijikata and zoro's voice is always fun.

>there are people that unironically enjoy english dubs
They're all low effort uninspired garbage, talk about having colossal shit taste.

There are some that have heart put into them it's just the execution is never 10/10. It doesn't help that close translations also direct the VAs to be as close to the way the Japanese VAs speak as possible which makes everything sound bland or stupid instead of just talking naturally. People who have done dub work have said as much and just wished they had a dub that was close in script but that they weren't told to repeat it over and over and over until it sounded exactly like the JP.

The Dub is only better if it's the only dub you've listen to. The same people who are in this are also in every other anime that was dubbed in North America in the 2000s. And I listen to so few dubs that it's hard for me to not focus on their voices being in other roles I know them from like TTGL and Code Geass. I've tried to watch the dub with my cousin twice now and I finally told him we have to watch the sub or I'm not going to enjoy it.

But you do have working eyes right?

I got a solution for the age old problem. I watch it with the english audio, but also leave the subs on an pay attention to them. This means that I am watching my anime subbed.

>lmao i
Why do you type like an idiot?

This is the answer man.

Having Steve Blum as Mugen was a massive mistake because it makes the comparisons to Bebop all the more frequent. I think on the whole it's okay, but some more Japanese episodes really are better dubbed such as the episode where Mugen learns how to read.

>Implying that's a bad thing
