Honestly, Nakamura was an overly temperamental girl with some mental issues that I wouldn't even call that big of a deal like some other mental cases. She thinks her little games are naughty and badass when they're actually really innocent and cute, the main trait all her schemes exude is honesty and a very innocent rendition of sexual kinkery. Why people call her a mental case is beyond me. We never saw the girl do anything really bad like torture animals or try to kill or harm people like real mental cases do. She only ever tried to kill herself and even then she pushed the normie beta sucker out of the way because she knew he was only trying hard to push himself to be like her because he is exactly that, a follower beta easily entranced by the charm of others. If anything she was responsible and selfless for saving him, unlike Kasuga the bitch mc who was nothing more than a mentally and physically immature brat with no character to call his own. That's why he was always chasing after women who had some unique charm to them.

The reason she ended up so tragically stuck on that beach unhappy and isolated was because she lived in a boring shit ass small town filled with spineless boring people like Kasuga. If you disagree then just tell me this: What would happen in Aku no Hana if instead of a boring small village filled with spineless normies, Nakamura was instead going to school with your average anime delinquent boys we see in so many delinquent manga? She'd have such fun and would be actually fulfilled in life, she'd have a boyfriend who'd be on her level and do shit that she'd always want to be part of instead of needing to come up with her own ways to entertain herself. Sure she might have ended up in juvie but like she'd care.

At the end of the day Nakamura was nothing more than a delinquent waifu without a delinquent husbando.
