Was it really that bad?
BNA
won a bunch of awards and outsold a lot of anime from that season. wasnt bad by any regard
Worse than that it was average. There's just nothing about it that stands out other than the usual Trigger art style
No but your thread is shit.
I didn't like the two MCs. Shirou did nothing for me and I did not like Michiru at all. I can't really say what it was about them I don't like though, I guess there was just an absence of things to like about them. What makes it more confusing is there is a show this season with a similar duo of characters that I absolutly love.
Meh, don't think it was bad just a rushed and average story
I expected to hate it (since I disliked Promare and thought TV LWA was meh) but it was actually enjoyable just for the world built around it, which was enough to make me tolerate the exposition dumps near the end that made me feel like it would have worked better as a 1.5 cour. The aesthetic also worked very well.
But it was good not bad.
my thoughts exactly, felt like it needed another 12 episodes. so many plot developments were rushed
Furries will still remember it long after everything else from this year is forgotten.
It was so boring that i couldnt remember what it was about the day after i watched it. No style, no plot, no idea. Those few paths that were in the plot are so sketchy and secondary that they caused Spanish shame. They are the archetypes of the characters of some spizidli not just from gurren laggan or kill la kill, but right from the recent promare. It looks like the trigger fizzled out like a studio.
I liked the first episode and the baseball episode. Didn't like the rest.
First half was good, second half sucked
Like every other big trigger show it was mostly aimless and mediocre.
They put effort into animation and artstyle and music, but the story that's supposed to tie it all together just wasn't up to snuff. A few more episodes could have helped but it wouldn't have remedied everything.
the only bad thing about this anime is that the story feel so rushed. probably because trigger already sign a contract to make cyberpunk anime when they still making BNA.
HEY
ARE YOU
READY
TO
GO
CAUSE
YOU KNOW
THE WAY
TO
GO
hamfisted furry take on evil wypipo and blacks who love to chimp out, with gay idol worshipping thrown in.
worst trigger show by far, theyre not a guaranteed watch studio for me anymore.
>t. didn't watch the show
No. It was their best show for whatever it's worth.
Then again I don't really get what people like so much about said shows.
it didn't need another 12 episodes, it needed at most 3 or 4
No but most people went in expecting LWA or something, it's a solid 6/10, probably a 7 depending on how much you value aesthetics
No, it was just very mediocre.
I rather liked Michiru myself. But in the dynamic between Michiru and Shirou, Shirou is like a brick wall for like 90% of the show. He had a bit more to him outside of their dynamic, but within their dynamic he was mostly a solid wall.
Natsume's and Kaburagi's dynamic feels a lot more lively to me. As in even though Kaburagi have been fairly stoic for most of the show, he still comes across as malleable while being shaped ever so little by every interaction with Natsume.
That's the big difference I feel like but maybe it was something else for you.
I quite like BNA still though.
It put me to sleep after just 4 episodes. I felt like I was watching literally nothing.
It wasn't bad. It was passable, which is why it feels more disappointing than if it had just been genuinely kind of bad. Same happened with LWA. Had they been shit that would just be it, but they're both something that could have been much more, and the missed potential just bums me out. I didn't even watch Franxx and Gridman because I was so rankled by LWA's mediocrity.
t. Twitter nigger
It was really disappointing, mostly because of how good the first half was. There was some good set up that really got no pay off. Was pretty shocked when I found out it wasn't going to be two cours. I still enjoyed it for the flashy spectacle, but it really hurts that it ended up so rushed.
what part of my post was wrong, libtard?
alan, an aryan talking about pure bloodlines is the big bad buy.
calls the impures (who chimp out after getting a little bit excited) mongrel bloods and wants to eradicate them via use of drones and other police vehicles.
idols are fucking gay.
your turn, smoothbrain whore
Aren't these guys making a cyberpunk 2077 OVA for netflix now?
It was shaping to be pretty good but of course TRIGGER had to shit up the end
Who says it was bad?
It was good, just too short.
not necessarily bad, just disappointing
