Scanlators do it for free (most of the time) i wouldn't pay money for something that's illegal in the first place. It's pointless to bug a scanlator when you wouldn't even put any work on it yourself.

I would add that shilling is different and you can enter suggestion on scanlator discord(if they have that option). It's great to expose the Series you desperately want to get Translated to scanlators. Just don't keep your expectations high. Oh and btw a series i always wanted to read just started getting Translated. It's called warera contactee.
