Why spics still get so triggered by pic related after 8 years? Everytime I go to a Youtube video, its always the same NPC comment
>Muh ruined childhood
>Muh Powerpuff Girls
>They turned Saint Seiya into Precure
>Muh lack of blood and gore
>We want Lost Canvas back
Sure, it was a mediocre show at best and the original is still better, but there were many good ideas and concepts, specially at the second half, just that some of them were not executed properly. I enjoyed it for what it was despite some of its issues, and I unironically think it was still a better product than almost everything which came after this, specially the trainwreck which was Saintia Sho adaptation.
Also I'm tired of people pretending the original was a masterpiece either when it had almost all of the typical shonenshit trends which are considered a beaten horse at the current year of our lord. Stuff like this is why no one in this board takes shonenspics seriously. And this comes from a spic, by the way.

Omega eas enjoyable, AT LEAST it was something new for the franchise that can't get away from rehashing old stuff.
It also brought us Fudo.
For me, it was Harbinger
>Grew up on the streets and defeated gangs by himself as a kid
>Was not afraid of criticizing Athena when she really deserved it unlike the rest of the Yes Man gold saints
>Was absolute savage with his rivals
>Proved to be loyal in the end
>Becomes the motherfucking Pope
Chadinger was the GOAT of Omega.
The 1st half is literally a rehash of sanctuary arc especially when they actually go to mars' version of sanctuary.
I think no one denies that, but there were still some good moments/character development during this half. Second half (Pallas) was much better and tried to be its own thing but I feel a lot of the animation was sacrificed in exchange (Umakoshi left Omega after the first half concluded).
I think that Mars not being the final boss of S1 was a nice twist. Freaking Pisces Saint was chad to the point of outliving main villain.
I like how he trolled the protagonists by telling them a sad backstory to try justifying his actions, and then he said in the end it was all fake. I just hated how he was killed in a single blow by a possesed Koga. And that was my biggest issue with the first half: A lot of characters who were very interesting were wasted. I think either pic related or Mycenae were the worse offenders.
It's the best Saint Seiya anime after Hades Sanctuary.
Tenkai-hen was a pretensious mess.
Hades Inferno and Elysium were low budget storyboards.
Lost Canvas was a fujoshi fanfic.
Legend of Sanctuary was a rushed underwhelming movie.
Saintia Sho was a terrible low buget adaptation.
Knights of the Zodiac was Netflix trying to get the American audience and failing.
Omega was a legit original shounen with fun characters, good battles and great music.
Spics think if they keep razing social media that will make Lost Canvas actually sell more overnight and get them their precious 3rd season
It doesn't help that for Braziltards social media spamming helped elect their current dunce-in-official so they'll shit twice as hard thinking it will have any effect
Also it's not just normie social media either, in 4chingchong years back an autist was dumping the original manga and every single time Omega somehow came up in discussion and people didn't say "it's absolute shit" it'd just turn into "leave and stay go"
Ionia was the best new Gold Saint bar none because he was actually new, motherfucker could twist your fucking neck with the power of words
Unfortunately the producer was a Taurus so we got like a 5 episode fight for Harbinger that just kept spinning in place and they wasted Ionia with a single episode
Pretty much this desu
Ugly art, stupid story and overall garbage.
>I hate this show
>Makes the most generic criticisms possible
It's a free bump I guess. Thanks.
>They turned Saint Seiya into Precure
This is it now, you don't get a continuous 50+ episode show without it being kiddy shit.
I loved it anyway, excellent soundtrack.
And Soul of Gold was so forgettable that I even forgot mentioning. It only existed to promote new toys and had maybe 2 or 3 good episodes.
The show is so generic that even the criticism is generic.
Half of Omega S1 was good. It's not even a first part, second part, thing, some episodes are just really good and other episodes are just bad.
>original shounen
>mixmatch of everything that was popular on the 2000s
What do spics and guidos see in this show? Sure, it’s bloody, but so was HnK, and that was far more entertaining.
As far as I'm concerned it's the only good saint seiya spin-off and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Sopa opera-style melodrama.
Nah, HnK is just the Kenshiro show and you know every single time any guy who shows up promising great things just jobs so Kenshiro can go on to be the greatest man that has ever lived being real damn preachy about it. And by the second half things get so ludicrous with everyone having relatives it gets absurdly ridiculous.
With shounen where there's a fixed group there's a little more variety more than it always being a variant of Kenshiro having a super duper secret technique that pushes a specific star point that is so damn specific it's going to cause you amnesia AND to fall in love with the first person you see. And, odds are, cure your cancer.
The girls are hot at least
Granted, there was another 12 temples, but everything else was pretty fresh for the series while other spin-offs keeps rehashing the same plot and time periods.
It was a good ride. Fudo and Harbinger were welcome additions. Bringing back the old bronze saints was great. Shame Cancer always gonna get btfo, my sign cant catch a break in SS.
>Sure, it’s bloody,
Omega was tame as fuck in comparison to the original.
Omega is the GT of Saint Seiya
It's a good show and one of the first anime hits on their territory. Besides that, Saint Seiya still is the 4th most profitable Toei anime inside and outside Japan. It isn't just a south american success, it's a worldwide success that failed in grabbing USA attention.
The real problem of this show is that the characters are super forgettable, especially the golden saints. Of course it's not as bad as Soul of Gold but that's not saying much.
Yeah, its alternative timeline.
Omega was also the only spinoff with actual balls. Go on and name me a single one where a Leo Saint gets killed OFFSCREEN in a single shot. Take your time.
Yet you just know if Kurumada had done this the usual suspects would be singing his praises of how unpredictable he is.
Thank fuck there's another timeline where the original bronze saints went on to be badasses that people tremble at the mention of their names because if they were still just spinning in place being surprised Gold Saints can achieve light speed, then that'd be a pretty bad timeline to be stuck with.
Honestly Next Dimension is very silly but I'm having a blast discovering what's coming next. However there are some parts that are way too lazy like scorpio that's pretty much a 1:1 reharsh.
Next Dimension is never going anywhere now that Kurumada stole the idea of a 13th Gold Saint from Omega's working plot (he had literally said it was something "way too new" in a Q&A with overseas fans, but when Omega went into preproduction and they wanted to use it with Mars being the 13th Gold Saint all of a sudden ND changed gears from Suikyo being this ultimate badass who's going to cross the 12 Houses by himself to him just being filler so Odysseus can become the badass who is going to cross the 12 houses by himself when all this was ever supposed to cover was Hades), he always said coming up with the new armors and their objects was the most draining part of making Saint Seiya and now that he has a new Cloth Myth to pimp out this is going to last maybe 5 more years just on Odysseus' flashback trips.
