Does anyone know the specifics? I'm on a Ledger now and use Yoroi. However, Charles mentioned that Ledger may need a couple weeks for the software to get updated for the Cardano App and if we needed immediate access to our ADA, to restore our Ledger wallet on Daedalus. Obviously, I'm not doing that, so if I want to stake right away, is it required to send to Daedalus from Ledger now?

I don't know. if you do plan to stake from daedalus though it would be easy to just create a new wallet on daedalus and send to that from your ledger. you can do it now, in fact I probably would just to be sure. do you have a spare laptop to run the wallet software from? I always use a clean crypto-only computer for anything crypto.

I just feel safer keeping everything on my Ledger except MetaMask for playing. I went ahead and just sent it to Daedalus just to start staking earlier. I'll move back to Ledger for cold staking once either Daedalus or Yoroi can handle it.

I have my ledger waiting to be opened for cold staking on daedalus. my guess is that trezor will get supported 1st, I think that's what charles alluded to in one of his recent videos.
