Fieren feels kinda wakward to me because I get that she is numb of human norm but it doesnt stick me when she experience so much from traveling with her companions through those years, then she suddenly react when it times to. I dont think they deeply explain why elves in that world is devoid of reactionary emotion.

She's a fucking necromancer with access to resurrection magic -- in a world where you can die to a literal plant. I don't even know why you would want to plow the other one, but her usefulness surely cannot surpass Marcille's?

Her being a halfbreed is plausible considering how obsessed she is with everyone around her dying faster than her. Maybe her human daddy died while she was growing up and it gave her trauma
