like this arc was supposed to be Zoro's arc? Be honest with yourself, would you really want Zoro to be tied to another 'new' group like how Sanji was with Germa, even if Kin and co were introduced relatively early into the NW? Like, Zoro got some clear inference to what he probably is from his interactions with Onimaru, but it sincerely doesn't matter. Besides, we actually got a good grasp on Kaido's 'deal', with him being a might-makes-right kind of guy with a diverse crew at the top (with Queen and Drake possibly being the only humans in the All-Stars+Flying Six) and a minor honorable streak, along with having a enemy he probably would've preferred to have as a ally and getting stuck with someone he can't personally respect (Orochi) as his main ally. We basically already know more about Kaido than we did about Big Mom pre-Tea Party, and we're still getting members of the Beast Pirates coming out from the woodwork.

Orochi will reveal that his fruit allows him to be decapitated 8 times before dying. Only when all eight heads are cut off will he die. He will reluctantly ally with the scabbards (it will be a one-sided alliance but he will still help) but the Scabbards will imprison him at the end of the arc.

Given his fruit, I could only really see him just springing out of nowhere and chomping down on Kaido in a weakened moment and poisoning him while screaming or something. The heads having multiple personalities might have some merits given how he acts and his relative derangement, but I don't know how much that'd really effect anything this far into the arc unless something weird happens, like he sneaks off and calls Cipher Pol and requests they send in the warships or something
