No way bro. There are a ton of good untranslated manga. A lot of manga only gets picked up by translators after it gets an anime. Plus being able to read weekly magazines would be cool.

Where can I read manga in japanese online?
Theres no shortage of shitty translations out there so surely there's some kind of place I can just read the shit.
It doesnt have to be online but that'd be a lot easier than having to torrent shitloads of raws.

I got into anime a lot later than most of you. Went through a honeymoon stage with the adult swim kind of shows, and figured not being able to understand what the characters were saying and relying on subtitles was getting annoying. Four months later alright let's learn kana I can do this. Nowadays I barely watch any anime, and I'm using Zig Forums as means to procrastinate the anki reviews and jobs I need to apply for tonight. Learning this language will take significantly more time than any project you have ever done. It's better than video games, but desu the worst part for me is how isolating it can be.

I feel pity for JSL desu. With all their knowledge they're still here. I would prefer to learn moon and abandon the board for better VN/LN/manga/anime/game discussions
