You won't have X money a week. Market is unreliable and you take what it gives you. You can do 40% one year and 250% the next, same trader, same skills, same ideas.
with $3000 you can hope to hit $6000 after 2-3 years if you are very good, lucky, and with high risk of ending up at $1500 instead.
Amd has a huge edge on intel right now for practically 2 years until they can create their own 7nm chips. Intel is already trying to negotiate with TSM so that Intel can at least compete tech wise. It's up to you to decide, I think there could be upside, but who the fuck knows anymore.
