Also an Alliance chapter is inevitable, I still believe the alliance looked cool in Isayama's mind (who watched a marathon of Marvel movies). I think he needs to clarify Yelena's role there, because with Floch there she is in dangee of becoming redundant, like Floch could talk more about Eren or something

From what, Eren's CTs? I can't see a battle like that working out, logistically speaking. If the leading edge of the rumbling reaches Odiha while they're still in port, it'll be a couple of lines of tens of thousands of CTs at the very least. They can't hold off a force like that with just one Ackerman, five shifters, and three ordinary SL fighters. Especially since four of the titan shifters are too small to fight even one CT.
I did see an interesting suggestion elsewhere, which was that Odia could be overwhelmed by refugees fleeing the rumbling. Upon arriving, they'd have to fight off civilians trying to hijack the ship to escape to sea. Seems a little too dark for Isayama, but I guess I can't rule it out after Mehmet got brutally stomped and the cringevengers butchered their own people.

Not even much of an LHfag, but little moments like that were the only saving grace in the Alliance chapters for me. If Isayama didn't stud that turd of an arc with a few gems, I would have dropped reading it monthly until an /snk/ spergout in the catalogue let me know Eren was back. I'm sure he did that on purpose.
I see. I figured the gamble was that Odiha might be rumbled at any moment since they weren't absolutely sure which route Eren took, so they might end up stranded and with no backup plan. But I can see how it could be read the other way.
