Why didn't Netero do this when he realized he was about to die anyway

Why didn't Netero do this when he realized he was about to die anyway

Why didn't Kite do this when he probably realized he was about to die.

Why doesn't every Nen user that is about to die in a fight use this transformation?

Because they didn’t sign the mark contract

>Why didn't Netero do this when he realized he was about to die anyway
Because he was winning anyway? What would he have gained?
>Why didn't Kite do this when he probably realized he was about to die.
No conviction and no time.
This is a power born from emotion. "Might as well..." isn't going to cut it.

wow, a powerup based on being hyped? kino seinen you got there king

Because they aren't the MC and it would be less interesting to see Gon go from basically a totally innocent kid to a mentally unstable wreck. What's even creepier is that after he kills Pitou he basically goes back to normal but doesn't have Nen. Like wtf Gon. You just tore that bitches arms off and beat her to death with them. Shit you let one of you own arms be torn off just to feel what Kite felt. Somehow this doesn't traumatize him.

It's shonen though.

Because togashi is a hack. and the whole thing is an asspull just like Alluka and OH MY RUBBER NEN.

Because if you are heading towards a certain death you no longer have any future potential. Also, Netero, Kite, or most hunters do not have the same potential as Gon had when he decided to give up all of his potential.
Why are you speedreading and then asking questions?
Low IQ?

Were you expecting some deep, truly intellectual deconstruction of the human condition out of a fucking battle shonen. Jesus the HunterChad shitposters have really done a number on you guys.

Because they have bullshits like OH MY RUBBER NEN!
Netero OH My ROSE BOMB!
Kite OH MY REINCARNATION POWERUP!
Togashi will create something stupid for characters he like and ignore others.

This is not a power born from emotion.
He also did not become twice as large and 10 times as powerful, for some reason.

He used his hatsu here, no limitations were in play. How fucking stupid are you?

>Why didn't Netero do this when he realized he was about to die anyway

The transformation is about potential, Gon was a 1 in a million talent potential, other characters aren't, Hetero wouldn't be able to do it because he is old and already exhausted his potential, Kite could probably do it but wouldn't really be as strong as Gon-san, it's also theorized that only enhancement class nen users would be able to do this kind of transformation.

Gon is the chosen one

This brings up a good point. if kite were to do it would it make his conjured weapon shit actually work the way he wanted it to for a bit instead of being a slot machine? Who am i kidding, this will never be brought up again in the series and even Gon got over it immediately.

>it would it make his conjured weapon shit actually work the way he wanted it to
It not "actually working" is a limitation which makes it stronger. Did you even read the manga?

Speedreaders need to kys. No wonder Hunterchad posters dominate Zig Forums when it’s full of retarded pseuds like OP

>it's his potential

What a flimsy fucking explanation. Lame as fuck.

>hyped
>Gon
No sweetheart. This isn't DBZ.

Because Netero isn't a special snowflake Gary Stu that was born with a 1 in a million nen potential like Gon, he had to train for decades to get has strong as he was.

it's just Gon's full power, peak he would've attained eventually
Netero and Kite were already in their prime

>slot machine
>every time he used it he got what he needed
Him acting like he hated the result was all part of his contract, by acting tsundere towards his wheels he'd get whatever result would be the best at that time. Obviously.

normal human emotions don't apply to that nut

whoops, I posted in a hxh thread. what the fuck am I doing
like I've only seen the animu and it's not remotely confusing why only congo gongo would be able to use that stupid fucking power

fuck op and fuck you all

Yes i know this. Would his actual ability change since he is a conjurer if he did what Gon did. Has there ever been an example of anyone else in the series ever doing what Gon did? Is it something that only Gon could exclusively do in that moment? So many questions that aren't answered.

I think potential is part of it, but so is state of mind. It isn’t just a “well I’m about to die anyway” state of mind that Gon entered, it was more than that. Typically in a life or death situation all you think about is survival, even when you know you’re going to die. Gon was apathetic to death and even welcomed it, allowing a contract to be made in exchange for his everything. Hisoka is a different situation where he was so assblasted from losing that his nen reactivated after death so now he’s a zombie focused on a killing spree no more than pitou was.

>Netero isn't a special snowflake Gary Stu that was born with a 1 in a million nen potential
But that isn’t Gon either, that’s Killua, even Bisky said it

Outside of Tserriednich (and Killua) I can't think of a character whose potential rivals Gon though, so if someone else has done it that was probably a long time ago. Also, It's not as if what Gon did was something great, so very few would even attempt to transform the way he did even if they did have the potential. Gon himself would have never done it unless he faced those very specific circumstances.

I'm the kind of person who looks for a deeper meaning even in shonen so i see it as a total loss of innocence on Gon's part because he was in denial from the second he woke back up outside the NGL. It finally sunk in that he'll never see Kite again who was more of a father figure than Ging ever was/could be and he fucking snapped. Nothing else mattered to him after that.

Read the manga again. Everybody licks Gon’s ass and hypes him up.

Why doesn't this happen in canon?

They do the same for Killua, what’s your point?

Netero was also born with insane potential, he just attained his power normally instead of doing it via suicide contract.

It does, to Kite.

What would a grown up Kite look like and would it be gay if i wanted to bang her.
