Really, Watamote is kinda weird. On the one hand, the world does genuinely contain plenty of Tomokos. However, irl, Tomokos don't get ignored. They get mercilessly bullied by other chicks, then they either suicide or eventually become the centre of a group of equally pathetic dudes and either shag the least worst of them or gain enough confidence from the attention to find someone not shit.

Still a great show though, if you can suspend your disbelief a bit.
