What Raildex lost and is progressively losing is mystery, as Touma and the others become more used to the world of magic and even directly influences it, as well as Accel becoming the fucking director removing the veil between the "mysterious" world of adults as represented by the dark side and the world of normal kids which he used to be in the latter, mystery--the thing that kept people reading wanting to know more slowly diminishes.
