bump for ded series.
I don't know what the theoretical maximum is, but the minimum for me is "Can it double as a hug pillow?"
What's the appeal of animal girls? Tail/ears does nothing for me, I'd rather just a girl.
Besides the appeal of getting to touch something exquisitely soft and fluffy? They often have certain mannerisms or behaviors that are inherently cute, including an inclination for physical affection, often in the form of head pats or petting.
>kemonos
>the girls aren't covered from head to toe in fur
I hate that KF popularized a completely incorrect usage of the word
So what you're saying is that we need more kemono girls in anime
Provided it's *that* kind of kemono girl, absolutely.
A rabbit?
I'm sorry, I don't understand this "too much fluff" premise.
So much potential for a kemono anime

It's a girl, but also a big fuzzy friend. They're nice to hug in cold winter days.
Hopefully MiA's success convinces more authors to attempt a kemono-centric series.
MIA isnt kemono centered though, as cute and sexy and delicious as Nanachi is
BNA, Beastars and Aggretsuko also give me hope.
Yes, but she is a central character that highly contributed to its popularity. IIRC her appearance gave the manga the ratings boost it needed to avoid the axe.
Wasn't there some project being done between KF/irodori's Fukuhara and Tsukushi that's kemono-centric?
Is there even such a thing? Maybe if it's too difficult to carry around?
It is a little bit of a shame, though I prefer kemonomimi I can definitely see it being annoying for people actually into kemono.
Everyone's favorite trope is when the male characters are full on kemono but the girls are all kemonomimi
