They were good because it showed how if a neet were to be transported into an isekai how they'd actually behave.
So many shows make the character mentally strong for the sake of viewing pleasure. As viewers we hate seeing a pathetic
nobody stumble around. Very few stories are actually written like that, and if they are they grow out of this phase very quickly
so the story can progress.
