I just think the plot started losing focus some time after the half way point.
The main love story between Sagiri and the MC is great but they started introducing more and more love interests for the MC and then they kept hogging up screen time when it's pretty obvious they don't actually have a chance. If they cut all that shit it could have easily been a perfect little 12 episode romcom with an actual conclusion.
Instead we got a total nothingburger ending and a half assed love hexagon that went no where.
